Our apple pie muffins taste just like Grandma’s fresh baked pies….and they should, because this recipe is based on our great-grandmother’s uncle’s bakery banana bread recipe from the late 1800’s. We put our own spin on it in honor of her apple pie, which she was well-known for in her community. They even wrote a newspaper article about her and her pie!
